The Traceability Engineer (TRG) role in 3DEXPERIENCE Platform is responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing traceability between engineering data such as requirements, architecture, design, implementation, and testing. It ensures a structured linkage between all product artifacts throughout the development lifecycle. The main objective is to guarantee full visibility and compliance between requirements and the actual system implementation.

This role enables modeling and analysis of traceability links, as well as identification of gaps or inconsistencies in engineering data. The Traceability Engineer supports teams in assessing the impact of changes on related elements and system components. Through visualization and analysis tools, it facilitates requirements coverage verification and system design quality assessment. This improves cross-team coordination and reduces the risk of development errors.
